COVID-19 ANNOUNCEMENT

We are now operating under level 1 dental restrictions due to continued decline of COVID-19 cases in Melbourne.

With level 1 restrictions in place, we continue to implement strict screening protocols and maintaining additional precautionary measures in our practice. We are now able to perform our regular dental procedures on patients who have been screened and deemed not to be at clinical or epidemiological risk of COVID-19. Patients who are at risk of COVID-19 will need to have their treatment deferred until such time when they no longer pose a risk of transmission. If you are unsure of your risk, please contact our practice to discuss your situation.

Our practice has instituted additional precautionary measures:

  • All dental treatment will be by appointment only in order for us to screen and triage patients. If you have any cold/flu-like symptoms or feeling unwell or any contact with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 cases, please inform us as your treatment will need to be delayed.

  • Recommending patients to attend alone or with minimal accompanying persons.

  • Alcohol hand sanitizer on arrival and before leaving practice.

  • Pre-procedural antiseptic mouthwash prior to commencement of treatment.

  • Use of dental dam to minimize aerosol generation.

  • Enhanced and regular environmental cleaning ensuring our shared areas and all high touch areas such chairs, door handles, toilet, phones, machines, equipment etc are regularly cleaned with hospital grade detergent/disinfectant.

Please be assured our practice follows the strictest infection control protocols and your safety while attending our practice is our highest priority.
