TEETH WHITENING

There are many products and techniques available for teeth whitening these days. It can be difficult to choose the best product/technique that is right for you. It is advised that patients book a check-up and clean appointment with the dentist to ensure there are no problems with the teeth prior to the teeth whitening procedure. Talk to your dentist about your teeth whitening needs and the product and technique that will suit your situation the best.

The two different techniques of teeth whitening are:

  • In office whitening is performed in the dental surgery under the supervision of the dentist. The session usually last 90 min and you will be able to see the results immediately.

  • For at home teeth whitening, the dentist will take moulds of your teeth and fabricate the whitening trays that you can use at home. Please ensure that you follow the instructions of your dentist correctly to avoid any damage to the soft tissues or teeth. It will take a few to several days to see the results of at home teeth whitening.

PORCELAIN VENEERS

Porcelain veneers are custom made shells designed to correct imperfections such as gaps in the teeth, chipped teeth, stains or mis-shaped teeth. Veneers are natural in appearance and are appropriate for patients who want to make minor adjustments to the shape and shade of their teeth.
